Our Community Risk Reduction (CRR) Classes are designed to educate, engage, and empower residents, businesses, and community groups to prevent emergencies before they happen. These classes focus on identifying local risks, promoting safety practices, and building community resilience through proactive education and outreach.
What You’ll Learn:
- Fire prevention and safety tips for home and work
- Disaster preparedness (Hurricanes, floods, storms, etc.)
- Fall prevention for seniors and vulnerable populations
- Smoke alarm installation and maintenance
- Home hazard identification and mitigation
- Youth fire safety and juvenile fire-setter intervention
- CPR & basic first aid (offered in select sessions)
- Child Passenger Safety
