Multiple Vehicle Fires

Cedar Hammock Fire Rescue responded to a report of a structure fire at Vizcaya Condos, 6101 34 St W. Upon arrival, at 21:49 firefighters found three vehicles on fire under a four-vehicle detached carport with flames endangering an eight unit, two story condominium building. Firefighters initiated fire attack with 2 lines and had the situation under control at 22:12. A total of 4 Engine Companies, 1 Truck Company, a Battalion Chief and an Investigator responded w/ 18 personnel. There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters. Damage to the carport, 2 Lincoln Town Cars and 1 Toyota Camry is estimated at $90,000.00. The fire cause is under investigation.
