March 27, 2007 Structure Fire

At 05:32 hours, CHFR responded to a reported structure fire at 817 49th Avenue Drive West, Bradenton.
Upon arrival, first due company and B Shift Battalion Chief found a single-wide mobile home fully involved with
all occupants out of the structure. The fire was contained to one mobile home and under control in approximately
10 minutes. The mobile home was occupied by 2 people who were able to escape the fire with minor injuries.
They were both evaluated by EMS and released. Crews remained on scene for several hours to assist
 with complete extinguishment and overhaul of the fire. CHFR responded with a total of 3 engines and a
Battalion Chief with a total of 15 Fire Department personnel. The cause of the fire is undetermined and
damage is estimated at $65,000 to structure and contents.
