Children's Fire Safety House
|
The Cedar Hammock Fire Rescue Safety House has been in use since 1987 and has instructed over 75,000 children in home fire safety. The safety house is designed specifically for children. Non toxic smoke is used to simulate a smoky environment, which activates a smoke alarm. The children are then shown the proper way to exit the house and meet at the designated area. The safety house is available to churches, schools and civic organizations or other similar functions. If you would like to schedule the Safety House at your next function please call the Cedar Hammock Fire Prevention Bureau at 941-751-7090. |
