This year's annual Safe Kids Summer Camp was full of fun and safety training, which was provided by agencies from Manatee and Pinellas Counties.

Firefighters Visit Broach School

Cedar Hammock Fire Rescue firefighters made a visit to the Broach School of Bradenton, located at 3005 26th Street West. Lieutenant Whitfield, Firefighter Falcone, and Firefighter Dudley spent the morning teaching the students about Fire Safety practices. The fire crew also demonstrated to the children how firefighters put on their protective fire gear and how important the protection is while conducting firefighting operations. After the safety lessons, both the children and the teachers enjoyed spraying water out of a real fire hose. We all had a great time making new friends.
