Randall
R. Stulce, Fire Chief
Welcome to Cedar Hammock
Fire Rescue
|
On behalf of the Board of
Fire Commissioners and our entire staff I would like to welcome you to our web
site. To keep you informed as much as we can we continually update
our site with information about our department and events affecting our
community.
Let me tell you a little
about Cedar Hammock Fire Rescue. Formed as a volunteer department in the
late 50's, the District provides Fire and Rescue services to the citizens in the
Southwest portion of the unincorporated areas of Manatee County, Florida.
Now a career department, we hold an ISO rating of 3 and respond to over 5,000
emergency calls each year. We protect a seasonal population which ranges
between 50,000 to 70,000 in a 25 square mile area. We now operate four fire
stations due to our October 1, 2007 merger with the Whitfield Fire Control
District. We encourage you to visit any of our
stations and meet our personnel.
Our weather information is updated timely
and our website has had overwhelming success, informing our citizens and
visitors of valuable storm information.
The mission I have set for
our department is:
|
"Provide Quality Service with
Pride, Commitment, and Courage."
If my staff or I can be of
any assistance , please contact me.
Sincerely,
Randall Stulce,
Fire Chief
