FIREFIGHTING TESTING ON HOLD Due to the unknown economic
impact the tax reform issue will place on the fire districts in Manatee
County, there will not be any firefighter testing in July. The current
hiring list will remain active until such time as the Manatee County
Fire Chiefs' Association deems it necessary to restart the testing
process. |

I would like
to thank everyone who attended last night's ceremony held at
our Station #1 facility. We had a great turnout of family,
friends and fellow firefighters that showed the support for
those who are undertaking new and challenging assignments
and promotions. The future continues to look bright for
