Structure Fire, B Shift
| At 15:09 hrs, Cedar Hammock Fire Rescue responded to a reported structure fire at 5407 21st Street West. First due company arrived at 15:11 hrs and found heavy smoke and fire showing from the roof of a single family residence. The main body of the fire was contained and extinguished in the attic of the home. Cedar Hammock responded with a total of 3 Fire engines and a Battalion Chief with a total of 17 personnel. During extinguishment, a dog and cat were rescued from the residence unharmed and later returned to the occupants. The cause of the fire is undetermined and estimated damage was $95,000 to the structure and contents. |
